 Fishermen catch champion sized fish (Lake Spivey holds the Georgia state record (tied) for the largest Crappie (4 lbs. 4 oz.) and 10 pound bass are not unheard of), while a sprinkling of water skiers and tubers test their skills. Families take pleasure cruises on pontoon and deck boats during fair weather sunsets and thousands view the spectacular Fourth of July fireworks display.

Lake Spivey is not the only lake within the community. Lake Jodeco is a 95-acre private lake surrounded by 200 custom built homes. On lazy afternoons you will see pontoon boats cruising the waters loaded with family or friends. Fishermen, old and young alike perch on their docks hoping to turn their fishermen lies into truths. 

Golfers take delight and build relationships at the Lake Spivey Golf Club; an 18 hole course which champion layout and a unique combination of distance, contour, wooded roughs and water presents a fun, fair and challenging round of golf for all levels of play.

Other popular attractions are also nearby. The Beach at Clayton County International Park offers tons of water fun for the entire family and Historic Downtown Jonesboro is just minutes away.
